THEME
The theme for the 2009 Rescue Quilt is "The Versatile Ridgback."

STYLE
The style of the quilt is a single Irish chain quilt with 17 blocks featuring all the activities our Ridgebacks do best. A nine-block unit is sewn in between each of the Ridgeback blocks.

RAFFLE
The 2009 quilt was raffled to raise funds for Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc. The winning ticket was selected on May 29, 2009, at the 79th RRCUS National Specialty Show in Lansing, Michigan, following closing of the Best of Breed competition. The lucky winner of the quilt raffle was Judy Abels.
